An exciting opportunity has arisen in CASHEL Co Tipperary for a Temporary Shop Manager

NCBI Retail has over 113 shops located around Ireland, selling great quality second hand clothes and other donated goods in aid of NCBI - Working for People with Sight Loss

In this varied and exciting role you will be instrumental to making sure this prominent shop achieves sales targets.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive sales and present both shop interior and shop window. They will also recruit, train, motivate and manage a social
activation employee and volunteer team in retail and customer service skills.

An ability to work under pressure and prioritise a changing workload are essential attributes for the role.

Prior experience in a busy retail environment, and stock pricing, is vital for this role.

The role involves preparing and receiving stock, tagging and pricing of second hand goods and clothing, cash register sales, merchandising and general customer service.

Retail sales support people with sight loss through NCBI.

We have a number of community employment vacancies within the Barnardos retail CE scheme.

Community Employment is a great opportunity to learn new skills or develop existing skills. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Sales Assistant

Locations:
Dalkey, Dun Laoghaire, Kilbarrack and Wexford.
Duties: 
To assist in the day to day running of the shop including stocking shelves, sorting stock, pricing stock, stock rotation and cash register duties, ensuring window displays are attractive and any other reasonable duties requested by the shop management.

Fashion Stock Assistant

Location: 
Ballycoolin Dublin 15 - The warehouse is not on a bus route, and transport would be needed to get to this location.
Duties:
To assist in the day to day running of the warehouse including, unloading and loading stock, label removal, stock taking duties, pricing and tagging, preparation of merchandise for delivery, participation in the Barnardos pop-up shops and any other reasonable duties requested by the shop management. Must have a keen interest in fashion.

All posts are 19.5 hours per week, and are subject to DSP eligibility requirements.

To be eligible for CE you must be in receipt of a payment from the DSP for a minimum of twelve months.
